What is camel leather?
Camel leather is a full-grain leather made from camel hide, a by-product of the camel industry in the Gulf region. It has a distinctive fine, irregular grain and is naturally lightweight while remaining hard-wearing. Like all natural leather, each piece varies slightly in grain and tone, and it develops a patina with use.
Where are Cam-Ora products made?
Our leather is tanned and our pieces are crafted at Al Khaznah Leathers in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Cam-Ora is operated by Cam Ora F.Z.E, licence number 46987, registered at C1 Building, Ajman Free Zone, Ajman, United Arab Emirates.
What does Cam-Ora sell?
We currently make three camel leather accessories: a slim card holder, an eyeglasses case, and a passport and travel holder with a detachable neck strap. All three are available on our online store.
Do Cam-Ora products have RFID blocking?
Only the card holder includes RFID-blocking protection. The eyeglasses case and the passport and travel holder do not include RFID blocking.
How much does shipping cost?
Delivery within the United Arab Emirates is free on every order. International delivery is AED 73 on orders below AED 500, and free on orders of AED 500 or more. Available shipping methods and the exact charge for your address are confirmed at checkout.
Can I return an order?
Yes. You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order. The item must be unused, unworn, in its original condition, and returned with its original packaging, tags and accessories, together with proof of purchase. How do I care for camel leather?
Keep the piece dry and wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, heat sources and harsh cleaning products. If the leather dries out over time, apply a small amount of a neutral leather conditioner. Marks and a deepening colour are normal as the leather ages.
